Working principle of excavator diesel pump
The excavator diesel pump consists of a mechanism made of precision machinery, which has a cam connected to the transmission shaft inside.
When the engine starts running, the cam will rotate, which increases the pressure of the piston in the diesel pump during the up and down movement, and pushes the hydraulic oil in the power supply pipe into the high-pressure chamber. After reaching the required pressure value, the oil pressure enters the fuel injector through a special valve, injecting fuel into the engine's combustion chamber. The fuel then catches fire and converts the generated heat into power, thereby generating power and driving the excavator's operation.
